“Speed Matters - Unholstering Techniques” 2 hour Dry Fire Workshop
Course description
This two hour dry fire session is for students who have previously completed an Armed Security Officer, CCW course, or serious shooters and want targeted practice unholstering drills and mastering the gun draw. The class focuses on safe, repeatable technique and measurable improvement. Students will perform guided drills while instructors capture video for review. Each participant receives instructor critique and coaching aimed at improving draw mechanics, presentation, and draw to first shot tempo. Emphasis is placed on consistency, safety, and efficient movement patterns that transfer to live fire practice.
What you will work on
- Safe unholstering and foundational movement mechanics
- Grip, stance, and presentation from concealment
- Reducing draw times through technique refinement
- Video review with individualized coaching
Required Equipment
- This is a non live fire session
- Concealment setup used for everyday carry, or duty gear, or outside the waist holster
- Unloaded pistol
- Holster
